Russian-Austrian Chess Cup

We invite you to take part in the online tournament "Russian-Austrian Chess Cup"

Tournament organizers: Regional public organization "Society of Friendship with Austria"

Tournament co-organizer: Moscow Chess School | Moscow Chess School

Residents of Russia and Austria under the age of 14 (inclusive) take part in the Tournament. Participants are divided into two age groups: up to 10 years old (born in 2011 and younger) and from 11 to 14 years old (born in 2007-2010).

Participation in the Tournament is free .

  The tournament is held in 4 (four) stages:

● Registration of participants on the platform https://lichess.org/ - until October 27, 2021.

● Applications are accepted from 7 to 27 October 2021.

● Tournament - October 28, 2021 at 18:00 (Moscow time). 

The competition is held according to the Swiss system in 7 rounds, with a time control of 5 minutes until the end of the game with an addition of 3 seconds for each move, for each participant.

● Determination of winners - October 28, 2021. 

THE TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

In order to become a participant in the Tournament, the following conditions must be met: 

1. Register on the platform https://lichess.org/
2. Join the club https://lichess.org/team/moscow-chess-school
3. Send an application for participation in the Tournament indicating your full name, date of birth, place of residence and nickname on the lichess.org platform to the Organizer's mail oda.2013@bk.ru from October 7 to October 27, 2021 .
4. Follow the link in the reply https://lichess.org/swiss/Xlfomn27 , join the tournament (participate) and enter the received code .

Compliance with all the requirements set forth in these Regulations is admission to participation in the Tournament organized by the Regional Public Organization "Society for Friendship with Austria" and unconditional confirmation of acceptance of all the conditions of these Regulations.

AWARDING

• All winners of each age group are awarded diplomas, winners - diplomas and certificates for the purchase of goods in chess shops.
• Additional prizes for the best players in Russia and Austria are possible.
• The Organizer contacts the winners of the Tournament independently and informs them about the opportunity to receive a prize.
